Artist Statement
An aerial view of a high-rise building in Toronto, Canada. The flattened surface plane reduces the details to a strong circular graphic image, using more pattern and shape than representation. From the elevated position of high-rise buildings, my images of cities and towns are delivered with a distinctive angle on structures frequently taken for granted. Through the aerial vantage point one discovers a modern perspective and fresh visual vocabulary.
The views expressed by our artists in their artist statements do not necessarily represent the views of our art galleries. Artists can be visually expressive but may verbally misrepresent their true intentions or ideas. Please note that we support expression, whether it is controversial or not, but our intention is never to offend.
If you are interested in art collecting and would like to purchase this beautiful art, give our art galleries a call. Our art gallery is a wonderful place for art collectors.
Our owner and curator is Linnea Lenkus, who has two portrait studios in Los Angeles and seeks to promote high quality artists.
