Having very little academic education I rely on my intuition. Growing up in a religious conservative household I was taught what a man is supposed to be about; a functioning provider who made the final decisions and with less emotion than the female for the good of the crew in his command at home.
When I hit my forties I could not hold in my creativity anymore and needed to leave those ideals. One of the first things I did is go to the Pride Parade in San Francisco and quickly noticed the beauty of men and their freedom to express that beauty which is what we all desire to do.
The views expressed by our artists in their artist statements do not necessarily represent the views of our art galleries. Artists can be visually expressive but may verbally misrepresent their true intentions or ideas. Please note that we support expression, whether it is controversial or not, but our intention is never to offend.
If you are passionate about art collecting and would like to buy this beautiful artwork, give our Los Angeles art galleries a call. Our art gallery is a wonderful place for art collectors.
Our owner and curator is Linnea Lenkus, who has two photo studios and a commitment to promote high quality artists.
