Fine Art Photography
I have always been drawn to the smaller details when photographing: The deterioration of a wall, the intentional or unintentional patterns, the texture of a material, how the light reflects off a surface, how objects look from different angles. It all intrigues me, and, yet, it is the smaller details such as this that many people tend to overlook the most. It is for this reason that I strive to capture these details in my photography. I aim to not only to capture, but to accentuate the details with symmetry by manipulating the images by means of mirroring, rotating, flipping, and/or reflecting them. By doing this I aim to change the perspectives on reality in photography and how architecture can be viewed. Sometimes it’s the most plain or simplistic images that can be transformed into something spectacular and intricate.
