Call for Entries Accepted Artists
Monrovia, California, USA
My motivation in the creation process of my collage, “Jolie Blonde”, was based on one question. What artist at one time in their life, hasn’t dreamt about what it was like to have lived in Paris, during the great discoveries of modern art and to have “hung out” with the likes of Pablo Picasso?
My formal art education began in New York at the high school of Art and Design. Later, I was accepted to the Brooklyn Museum Art School. Then, I attended the School of Visual Arts, the Art Students League, the New School of Social Research and the National Academy of Design.
I am also a graduate of the American Film Institute in film design. Most of that education was applied to stage design for many Los Angeles based theatres. I believe my theatrical experience has greatly influenced the creation of the narrative in my art.
