Since the time I had my first photographic camera, when I was 10 or 11 years old, I have been always more interested in creating images rather than capturing them from reality. Obviously, this is not a judgement but merely an opinion or, even better, a personal feeling that make me look for a way on this uncomfortable border between photography and digital art.
This collage has been built from a series of shots I took some time ago on B&W film in an inhabited apartment, following a mixture of sensual and bizarre inspiration. While I was scanning the negatives, I realized some of the images could be combined to produce amazing and disturbing scenes.
Suggestion and insinuation are more powerful than explicit messages because everyone will see what they actually want to see. I think it is better not to deprive anybody of such a pleasure giving unnecessary explanations.
