Artist Statement
Enzie Shahmiri has the rich, cultural heritage of a unique upbringing. Having lived in many countries, including Austria, Germany and Iran, she draws upon a plethora of civilizations and life-altering experiences to store within her arsenal of creative images for artistic references.
“Once the wind has whispered into year ear, you can’t ignore it’s calling,” says the artist, who continues to travel and captured images of people from around the globe in her work. Trained in Classical Realism Enzie has created portraits for families for over ten years. Her work reflects her passion for humanity and charitable causes, to which she donates a lot of her work continuously.
Enzie Shahmiri’s paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and are in private collections in the USA, Europe and the Middle East. her work has been published in books and has been included in a documentary and will soon appear on a minted coin for the Gary L. Hoop Foundation.
