Get Toasted Food Truck

Along with our live art show “Silent Communication”, taste buds will be satisfied with the mouth-watering delights of gourmet food truck, Get Toasted. The passion and innovation found in this cuisine derives from culinary masterminds John Yuhico and Manuel Medina. The two began working together in May of 2010, Yuhico as a restaurant manager and Medina as a chef. About a year later, they collaborated to create a passionate idea into a tasty culture-clashing reality.

Their contemporary dining reflects an upbringing that valued gathering around the dinner table. Yuhico and Medina believe that food is a unifying necessity that unfolds and enlivens conversations and stories. The food truck industry fits their energetic and vibrant personalities. Not only do they create a savory wow factor, but they also embed a memorable experience through a delightfully uncommon food truck atmosphere. Notable places they’ve served for includes DreamWorks, Budweiser, Nickelodeon, Universal Studios, and various television shows.

So what’s on the menu?! Well, they take the classic sandwich to another level of appetizing artistry with an incredible fusion of flavors. Spanish, Mexican, Filipino, and Asian cuisine result in a beautifully balanced melting pot of culture. “Can you see how fat this sandwich is?”, raved a Get Toasted customer. While another fan described it “like heaven in a bite.” From pulled pork to curry chicken sandwiches, “this [food truck] is not to be missed!”, expressed another devoted foodie. The quality of their food is undeniable and in the words of yet another Get Toasted aficionado, it’s because “…you can totally tell they put their heart and soul into the food truck.”

However, be warned, after having a Get Toasted sandwich, no other sandwich will ever match its impeccable goodness. So eat at your own risk of having, if not the best, one of the best sandwiches you’ll ever have!
