For many artists expanding one’s creativity sometimes means experimenting through medium. For Linus Galleries’ “It’s Only Natural” art exhibit, artist Launa D. Romoff focuses on the ever-so-engaging ‘nude’ as her subject matter in her artworks #418 Hiding In Plain Sight and #419 Newspaper Fragments.
In this series of artist portraits, Linus Galleries curator Linnea Lenkus photographs Romoff and enlivens the artist’s statement about the thought process behind her art. Specializing in fine art portrait photography, Linnea Lenkus’ portrait photography studios are located in Pasadena and Long Beach. Linnea’s fine art photography stays true to portraying the subject in a memorable state of being.

I find my material everywhere, because, by working in this medium, I believe you learn to “see” the beauty of the discarded and turn it into “art”. I present my reality in two different manifestations. They are either internal, elusive, suggestive or external, dynamic and engaging. They reflect my duality, which encompasses both.
“How I use the material at hand is often more important than the material itself”. -Kurt Schwitters
