Linus Galleries embraces creative renditions deriving from the minds of inspiring artists. One of these being Doug Sandelin, whose artwork was part of the art show “It’s Only Natural”. Raised with strong conservative values, Sandelin decided to break away and unleash an innate desire to creatively express himself. Taking inspiration from the San Francisco Pride Parade, his two artworks Pride 1 and Folsom 2, expose the beauty found within male liberation. Sandelin’s vibrant paintings show a colorful demeanor as do his artist portraits taken by fine art photographer Linnea Lenkus.
With an admiration for photography originating since childhood, Los Angeles portrait photographer Linnea Lenkus specializes in creating fine art photography for people throughout all of the stages of their lives, including artist portraits for artists who participate in Linus Galleries’ shows. In addition to being curator at Linus Galleries, Linnea fully dedicates herself to her two portrait photography studios, located in Pasadena and Long Beach.

“What a great experience I had dealing with all of you at the gallery. The photo shoot with Linnea was fun! She has what I would describe as a bright intuitive artistic spirit and has a personality for success! As for me I always try to surrender to my intuition and paint with intention.”
