Los Angeles fine art photographer and curator at Linus Galleries, Linnea Lenkus’ artist portraits strive to provide a further understanding of the artist’s message in addition to their statements for an art gallery. Linnea’s fine art photography, for people throughout all stages of their lives, takes place in her two portrait photography studios located in Pasadena and Long Beach.
One of these artists portraits by Linnea, was of Annie Terrazzo. For the “It’s Only Natural” art show, Terrazzo included her mixed media artworks Smirnoff…Smear It All Off and Fish Kiss. Both portraits are made with found paper resulting in visually appealing compositions.

Annie Terrazzo has been creating mixed media and trash portraiture for almost 10 years and has sold over 400 works in that time. “Detritus”, Annie’s recent artistic endeavor, is made completely out of newspapers and vintage magazines from around the world.
Originally from Colorado, Annie studied art with her family of jewelers and plein air artists and then moved on to study graphic design and portraiture in San Francisco. Since then, she has devoted her time to capturing the current depreciation of newspapers and found paper, making fun of it, and preserving them.
