Artist Statement
The “idea” is key to any good painting. At one of my art shows, a young woman approached me and said, “I love your work. I want to pose for you.” I shared the idea for this painting with her and she said, “I love it.” She and her boyfriend jumped into bed and the rest is art history. The “idea” is everything!
