Artist Statement
Specializing in abstracts and architecture “Theater” is my emotional expression of the interior of a theater. I used dramatic colors and played with light entering the dark arena for more emotional affect and contrast.
I used egg cartons to bring a dimensional aspect and represent floor and seating. Altogether I wanted a dramatic look and dark feeling without depression but more flair and drama and an oddly appealing affect.
