Artist Statement
The human body in its naked state is consistently intriguing to me. I find it beautiful and expressively simple on so many levels. I like to place the figures in landscapes of my imagination – open and vulnerable. The process of working with powdered graphite, acrylic paint and multiple image transfer allows me to put down on canvas exactly what I see in my head.
