Artist Statement
A mother of two living in 1960’s-established suburbia, I use my art to daydream, creating mini worlds of glamour and intrigue, and capturing them via photography, a medium that most closely brings them to life through its realistic nature.
My current methods are nostalgic, playing with vintage props and the dramatic lighting techniques of Old Hollywood and the Film Noir masters. If my photographs spark curiosity and lure the viewer into storytelling and/or daydreaming, then I’ve done my job.
