I’m fascinated by fractals. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales from as huge as the universe to microscopic levels not seen by the human eye. We are all part of an infinity mirror of patterns. The closer I look, the more I see beautiful patterns all around. Some look orderly. Others look chaotic. Nature continually repeats itself. Some of the pictures I take remind me of that.
I was on a morning walk in Signal Hill around Hilltop Park when I took the photo “Natures Lace”. No matter how many times I walk the same path I notice something new and beautiful. In this case I noticed the wall of bushes. They were normally green yet this time they were blooming white blossoms. The world is constantly evolving. The patterns of life are constantly changing. There are so many wonderful things to look forward to. My morning walks are a reminder of that.
