There are no possible ways we could possibly express our consciousness and besides that our memories are involuntary. Thus there are no stories, no situations, no realities, no narratives, there are only sensations and feelings. This photo essay has been devised and developed from the sensations and tensions found in Francis Bacon´s work. Not apparent forces deform and disfigure his images and from this standpoint he intends to neutralize the storytelling, the illustration and the figuration. Bacon said that photos reduce the sensation to one single level and the only way to make feelings arise is by mistreating the image. He does not integrate the photo as a creative element at any time, once the photos were considered to be probabilities already conceived or seen. On the other hand painting, he said, creates handled accidents starting from a figurative form, and then a diagram intervenes blurring it all, and through this diagram an entirely different form within a new nature, called figure, must arise…drop by drop coagulation, evolution, and gradually we passed hand to the eye … It would be a kind of structured paint on which images arise from a river of flesh, as would elevate the pools of blood … *
